Flash Introductions

Calhoun County wanted to showcase their beautiful community by using various imagery at the start of their website.  We developed a flash presentation that featured pictures of people and places within the County and set it to music and corresponding text.  We inserted options that included skipping or replaying the scenes as well as a way to turn off the music.  This flash presentation only plays the first time a visitor accesses the site.
 

Muninet Guide and Review

Rich Ciccarone, publisher of Muninet Guide and Review, had a vision.  He wanted to create an online directory of official municipal websites.  To make it more useful to his subscribers, he intended to categorize the websites in his link list.  Need to find transportation websites?  No problem.  Tourism websites in California?  Easy.  Municipal Bond Websites in New York?  Simple.  The best part, though, is the part we can't show you.  Behind the scenes, we provided the editor with a way to manage the 8,000 (and counting) sites in the database.  Of course they can add, edit and delete sites.  We also provided a means for splitting and combining categories, counting the websites in the directory, and deleting categories.  We even provided a tool for checking "Link Rot" in the database.

Ease of Navigation

We've also come up with ways to make navigation easier on large municipal sites.

OpenCube dropdown menus have become the standard of many websites simply because they are easy to use.  MWS has perfected the art of customizing dropdown menus to each website.  Take a look at the examples below:
