Calhoun County, Michigan

Located in south central Michigan, Calhoun County is the home to the Kellogg's Cereal Company, Albion College and the famous Win Schulers Restaurant.  The primary cities are Albion, Battle Creek (MWS client) and the county seat, Marshall.

In developing the second generation of their website, the County wanted to create a destination for visitors to learn about the various educational, civic, transportation, lodging, tourism and other resources in addition to the county government.

The design emphasizes these resources using bright accent coloring around vivid images of the activities and people of Calhoun County.  We also developed a Flash Intro for the site that again shows off various landmarks of the county along with its people.

Calhoun County also wanted to create a springboard for future delivery of county services via the web.  Be sure to check out the Delinquent Tax Lookup System, the first step in creating a virtual county building on the net.
